Best Western Strand Hotel

Hotel | In the middle of Visby's inner city you will find Strand Hotel. A personal hotel with a unique feel and first-class service. The hotel has 124 rooms and suites, a relaxation area with sauna and pool, a restaurant and a rooftop bar that is open during the summer months.

The premises were formerly home to Visby Brewery from 1854 and the family that today runs the hotel also ran the brewery for three generations. In 1982, the premises were transformed into a small family hotel with 13 rooms. Today, the hotel consists of a total of 110 rooms where the family feeling has been carefully preserved. The Best Western Strand Hotel stretches over five blocks and the spaces found in the beautiful medieval buildings have been cleverly used in the creation of the hotel. Barely two rooms are the same in their design and each room has its own charm that allows guests to feel at home in this relaxing environment. In 2014, AC has been installed in parts of the hotel, and our foyer has been given new furniture, but the big tree is of course still there!
 
At Best Western Strand Hotel there are eight meeting rooms for up to 120 people, a restaurant for conferences and groups, free Wi-Fi and free access to the relaxation area.
The reception is staffed around the clock and there are about 30 parking spaces right outside the hotel.
 
Parking is available subject to availability through the supplier Parkster according to tariff: 
1/6 - 21/8: 15 SEK/hour around the clock.
22/8 - 31/5: The first 2 hours free then 15 SEK/hour and with a maximum rate of 150 SEK/day.
 
A large breakfast buffet is included in all accommodation prices.
