Hotel | Clarion Hotel Wisby is a hotel with a unique history and atmosphere, located inside Visby's city wall. There are 212 hotel rooms, 10 meeting rooms, a banquet hall, an indoor pool and Gotland's most passionate staff. We are a cash-free hotel.
Clarion Hotel Wisby is conveniently located in the old part of Visby, just a short walk from the marina. Visby city is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site, named one of the best-preserved medieval Hanseatic cities. Visby feels like a small town, everything is within reach. Visby Airport is a 15-minute drive from the hotel, the Ferry Terminal (Hamnterminalen) and Wisby Strand are both within 15 minutes' walk of the hotel.
At the Clarion Hotel Wisby, the atmosphere is special. There are modern elements, carefully mixed with historical details, including a medieval alley and pillars from the 13th century that have been carefully restored and preserved. Clarion Hotel Wisby opened its doors on 1 May 1991, but our premises have been home to hotels since the mid-1800s.
